DocuPet’s COVID-19 Response

Monday, March 16th, 2020

We have been closely monitoring how the COVID-19 outbreak has been evolving and our priority is the safety and well-being of pet guardians, and the employees that serve them.

Our top priority is to care for the health and safety of every staff member at DocuPet, and to do our part to reduce the spreading of the virus.

As such, the following measures have been put in place:

  • All of our staff, but for those working in our fulfillment facilities, are now required to work from home.

  • We have cancelled all work-related travel including visits to partners, prospective partners, and conferences.

  • Our fulfillment facilities are being staffed with fewer team members at a time, and we have added more shifts each day to ensure our overall productivity remains constant. Temperatures are being measured before shifts begin, sanitation products are provided, hand washing is being encouraged, surfaces are being disinfected before and after shifts, and all workers are being told to remain at home if they feel at all unwell.

These changes will remain in effect until we have been informed by our various levels of government that wide-spread practices should be returned to normal.

Our mission is to help provide a safe and happy home for pets, but certainly for people too.

For the duration of the outbreak, we encourage pet guardians to license online or over the phone. We anticipate that, as a result of the virus, many of the locations that handle licensing in person will be closing soon if they have not already. We have added additional Customer Service support to handle the increased call volume.

We will continue to do our best to serve you, reduce service disruptions, and navigate the path ahead.

Please stay safe and healthy!
